Wanted to love this pod
I first discovered Hysteria through Pod Save America, a pod I’m a huge fan of. But now that Roe v. Wade has been overturned, I’ve had to unsubscribe. The host Erin has made comments over the past two years, like “Idky any woman would live in Wisconsin” or “if I were in Texas, I’d get out already”. Not all of us have the means to afford a house or a life in California, or the ability to “just move”. Some of us, like myself, are homeowners/small business owners (and are raising their small children near their grandparents) and have too many entanglements to just pick up and leave. It seems that host Erin lacks empathy and doesn’t recognize her own privilege. If you’re a progressive activist living in a red state, times are tough-especially post Roe. Find a pod with compassionate, true feminists that won’t make you feel worse.

Interesting premise and probably needed. I haven’t been let down by Crooked podcasts yet and I enjoyed the first episode. Excited to hear more and the hosts get along great! Cheers.

I’ve often enjoyed many of these podcasters contributions on other crooked media casts and it’s great to have a podcast focussing on them. First episode was very funny, looking forward to the next!
