The Brain is Strange
Excellent deep dive into this fascinating look at the mind-body connection and another reminder that we absolutely do not understand how most of the brain works. What the girls had was real, regardless of the ultimate diagnosis. How it was looked at and handled by the town and school and the press was far from ideal. Also how dare the school isolate the girl with Tourette Syndrome and how dare adults blame her and how dare adults yell at her in supermarkets. That part made me really angry.

More reviews of Hysterical
Taberski is the best of the best. So much heart, such a great storyteller. As a Western NYer, I am also stoked about this being a hometown story.

I have only listened to two episodes so far and I am so invested. It is hard for me to really get into podcasts sometimes and this one just sucked me in. I love how easy this is to follow.
