I know more about Gary than any of the guests he has had on(Every episode we get a Gary flashback). And I’m sure they totally enjoyed their time also hearing about their host whilst simultaneously wondering why they are even in the studio

Please bring back the interviews with Police, that is what made this podcast so great and unique. I just listened to the episodes with Madeleine West and I would much prefer to listen to the Police involved then her.

The episode titled The Coroners Decision is misleading as the outcome hasn’t been decided yet. Not cool to lead the listener on like that!

A wealth of knowledge and understanding of crime and criminals makes into a fantastic podcast! Well done!

Great podcast with so many interesting guests. Just one bug bear, please stop attempting to validate yourself with having your own story for scenarios your guests are articulating. Let them speak mate

Amazing podcast and incredible stories. As a host you just need to STOP speaking over them!

I began listening to this podcast in search of the ultimate crime enthusiasts channel. If that is what you are after then look no further, each episode is filled with raw emotion, empathy with a perfectly balanced humour in light of such traumatic experiences. After listening to this podcast...Read full review »

The insight into human nature and behaviour is fascinating. Every guest opens the listener to a world of difference of what life can be. Gary, whilst your career in the cops was exemplary, successful and consistently professional, I personally believe you have now found your true vocation....Read full review »

Love this pod and never miss an episode. Gary is a great interviewer and asks the questions we want to hear. Would love another episode with Russell Oxford, he’s so great at explaining the cases he worked on in detail Keep it up!!

Great podcast but would love if you done one on William Tyrrell also and speak about everything you know! I’ve followed you from when you started investigating Williams case, we met a few times at the Taree Inquests. I hate that you were silenced and think you should start talking!

Whilst the content is interesting, the author’s reputation working with the blue is very negative. A politically motivated officer whose focus on playing politics & stepping everyone to get ahead. Time in the Coffs Harbour area is a good example. After listening to more than 30 podcasts it is...Read full review »

Thank you for covering the Dying Rose podcast at such an important time. These are the stories of human beings who are made to feel less human in this country and it has to change.

Loved the two parter with Dr Felicity Gerry KC. Fascinating to hear the other side of law and order. Her story is so interesting (didn’t finish high school wow) and she’s such an entertaining speaker!

An ex cop who lied and then lied about the lies, and then gets a podcast. Pure evil in my opinion. Plus, in my opinion lives have been destroyed because of his lies and actions. Just no, he should not be doing a podcast. He should apologise to that poor man who went to prison for a long time but...Read full review »

What a terribly heartbreaking story! You seem to have , anyway such an amazing outlook on life. Wonderful lady! I’m very Rory this happened to you. This must be a good lace to tell it. Apart from your book of course.

Horrendous! The show was brilliant, and enthralling. Then midway through a sentence they throw in an ad for a dentist. You lose track of the story, and have to rewind to the cut off sentence, then fast forward 3:20ish minutes to get the sentence back to keep listening. Just avoid the podcast,...Read full review »

I’ve been following for a while and resonate with some reviews but not all! I do like how you highlight PTSD, in my sector it’s called vicarious trauma/burn out! I was so touched by the rawness of emotion that can plainly be heard in Gary’s voice in his update about the William Tyrell case. It’s so reassuring to hear someone as influential as Gary, who has a voice that he seeks to use meaningfully, openly discuss and get genuinely angry about the...Read full review »

Hey Gary I have been with you from the beginning of your podcast. Awesome !! I have watched you grow into podcasting. Absolutely love what you are doing. Think your photo looks fierce. That’s not you. Outrageous how you were treated by NSW police department. Shame on them. Cheers Dianne Dwight

Incredibly painful to listen to when Gary interrupts the guest constantly. Listened to the stalker episode but realised I didn’t actually hear her story in full, just snippets that I had to put together, as she was constantly spoken over and the story was hijacked at every turn. Gary has a bad habit of interrupting, to either tell his own story about the topic at hand, or worse to qualify what the guest is saying, which is insulting. Your story was so validating!! Our stories are very similar. I too was on a podcast and I had 11 people email me directly after - with similar experiences surrounding a specific person.
