Love this show. Please don’t retire it. I’ve listened to Holly and Andrew on TGM and now jumped across to HIHAT and it has given me hours of entertainment and handy hints I can implement into my parenting life.

Thank you for all your guidance, sometimes feels like I am still guessing this parenting thing despite my kids being 17 and 15. Keep it up ladies.

I just want to thank you so much for all the advice you give. Navigating the teenage years can be so stressful and I love being able to get advice on so many topics and listen to them at a time that suits me. I also like that it’s all free.

Very helpful advice for parents of teenagers. And they offer practical tips!

I love the discussion topics and was excited to listen. However, the presenters come across as a bit like know it alls, they are doing everything great and have little vulnerability. It’s hard to relate to and it feels like they are talking down to their audience from a superior position. It...Read full review »

Thanks Ginny and Jo - relevant and non-judgemental advice. Also appreciate that you’re prepared to have differing opinions sometimes and be able to sit with that. Need to get your book!

But I find that almost all advice is aimed at parenting neurotypical teens. Adding some insights around how to implement the strategies for neurodivergent teens would be greatly appreciated

Such sensible, common sense and much needed advice about raising teens. I can’t wait for each new episode, and my only criticism is I wish there were more!!!

Hmm calling a 13 year old swearing as cute ? Terrible advice - boring show.

I started listening to this podcast as I’m starting the teen years with my boy. These 2 ladies are not only a world of knowledge in there own field (medicine and psychology) but they also provide opinions with zero criticism but full of empathy not only for the parents but for our teens.

This is just what I needed. Understanding how to approach my teens living in a world so different to how we grew up and to do with love and compassion. Honestly, Ginni and Jo you’re saving my sanity one episode at a time. Thank you!

Thank you for creating this great concept! Yes you’re so right - it’s not like when the kids were younger and we could talk to our girlfriends about stuff - now that they are teenagers, it’s super important to maintain privacy and trust! But as a mum Im still desperate to maintain that feeling of...Read full review »

This was great! I got some really good parenting tips. I especially loved the advice around not calling your teen derogatory names (e.g. selfish) as it can have a self-fulfilling prophecy effect, but rather, praising the behaviours you wish to see more of. Such a simple idea, but so helpful. I...Read full review »

I love that this podcast shows how much some women have dealt with. I really do think it is good for them if they want to share. Most beautiful podcast in the world 🌎! 👋

Wouldn’t it be more useful to interview someone who has useful advice? Rebecca Judd has more money and help than God; how would she know what it’s like to work a full-time job, be the only one to pay the bills, do the household chores, and raise a family. Useless tidbits like “get a cleaner!” and...Read full review »

The girls edition of I don’t know how she does was incredibly informative! All different girls, from different backgrounds and life experiences that have been interviewed by an excellent jurnolist! Highly recommend to any girls / women under the age of 30!!!

I enjoyed this podcast except for the advertisements for Nair. I find it sad that in a show about girls doing great thing we get ads that essentially tell us our bodies are flawed (hair) and we need to buy Nair to make ourselves more acceptable. It doesn’t sit comfortably with me at all.
