“Doesn't really capture the spirit of its namesake. Rather than hearing only the voice of the person affected, there is an intrusive narrator, who sounds both inexperienced and young. And according to the opening statements of the first episode, rather than focusing on people of all walks of life who have survived all types of life-threatening situations, the focus is going to be exclusively on women criminally victimized by men. While such stories are appropriate, focusing solely on them was not the mission of the fascinating TV show. So, not off to a good start.”Read full review »
