“The thing I like about Olly is he is unpretentious. The only thing about the podcast that is not unpretentious is the title, I Will Teach you a Language. But anyone who has contact with Olly can cope with that! His podcasts are helpful, down to earth, and the right length, for me at any rate! He shows real interest in the questioner as well as the question. He kept his promise about getting in someone else to answer questions he didn't feel competent to answer himself, e.g. About learning Russian, which is not (yet!) one of his languages. He is realistic about language learning not being something you can do in a few weeks.
