“For all those families in this same position this must be such a refreshing take on the True Crime genre. And although some podcasters/podcasts have made a concerted effort to include more cases that affect black and brown communities, there is not Nearly as much focus on these too often overlooked & neglected victims and families. I find the host/creator/daughter of the victim, to have a superb voice and exceptionally rare inside view of an experience NO ONE would want to know personally. Not only the police department’s lack of any real action, but the up close and personal experience of having family members being involved, possibly, in the case or at the very least having knowledge or information about the circumstances surrounding her father’s murder. It’s a raw and sometimes flinching story that draws you in like few other I’ve listened to. Excellent storytelling that at its core is a withering and unsettling view of the reality that unless personally tied to a crime, few would understand. 5 Stars ***** without a doubt!”
