I found these guys around episode 60 or 70, back when they were just three silly game devs having a great time together. Don’t listen to the new stuff, go right back to the start and enjoy

Once a fantastic show. Though it’s still staffed by a great cast or witty, interesting and insightful commentators on the industry, it’s now packed to the brim with Mattress ads and watch ads in painfully lengthy comedy riffs. To this day, at least one game per episode is compared to Dark Souls....Read full review »

I have been listening to it for about 4 years, and I have at least twice listened to all of them from the beginning. Almost none of the content is out of date since they either make jokes about things or have really interesting discussions about them. Most of the other podcasts on the idle...Read full review »

Truly, this is the Idle Thumbs of podcasts. Equal parts insight, imagination, hooplah and puffins. About games. Mainly. Often.

The show is great but they have strayed too far away from video games. The hosts are as witty as ever but now it feels something more like the morning radio shows favored by rock stations.

If you can get past the occasionally hectic nature of the conversations this podcast has insightful and entertaining commentary on the games industry made by intelligent and experienced developers.
