I may not be one of your students, but I am sooooooo grateful to both of you and your super cool and awesome (Lol! I remember how Jessica taught that description!) podcasts! I have taken my exam last April 2, 2016, and I have seen my IELTS UKVI Academic test results today. Here they are:
Listening - 8.0
Reading - 7.5
Writing - 7.0
Speaking - 7.5
Overall Band Score - 7.5
This overwhelming blessing is unexpected! Yipeeeee! Hurraaaaaa~ay! XD
Actually, I only had around five weeks of preparation so I was freaking out on how to focus properly with the right strategies. I must admit, your techniques, rationale and tips are above par with clarity and brevity! From these, I had a better understanding and a clearer picture of IELTS.
I am proud to say that during the entire test, majority of what Jessica have discussed from podcast #1 to the recent ones and from the IELTS Energy videos were applied! I even saw the examiner grin when I have mentioned "gadgets and gizmos" while putting emotions on what I say during the Speaking test! Hahaha! 😉
