I Am Enjoying this Podcast
A few years back while walking around the Edgewater neighborhood in Chicago my wife and I noticed a sprawling hospital-like complex that seemed defunct and eerie. At the time I asked my sister about the buildings. What was the story? She seemed to know only that it used to be a hospital but wasn’t in operation any longer. Last month she forwarded me the link to this podcast. I figured I would give it a listen even though I don’t live in Chicago and don’t have any personal stake in the story. Six episodes later I have steadily worked my way through the podcast and I’ve been impressed. The research seems thorough, the story is interesting, the interviews are well done. The storytelling feels sincere. The sound quality is good. I think the people who put this together have done a fine job.
