Fascinating podcast
As a former employee of Edgewater Hospital (1984 - 1988), I find this podcast just absolutely fascinating. I left the hospital when the layoffs began and there were rumors of an investor coming in to save the hospital for $1M, so I was not working there when the fraud started. I grew up in Andersonville and my first job was working at Edgewater after school as a tray girl. After I graduated from high school, I worked there as an unit secretary. I enjoy listening to the hospital’s history and the events leading up to the closing of the hospital and I must say I have learned a few things since listening to this podcast. Even though I left Edgewater in 1988, the hospital always had a special place in my heart (no pun intended) and was sad it see it close. I’m so glad that Todd and Stephani decided to tackle this endeavor and tell the story of Edgewater Hospital. It’s a story that needs to be told. Congrats on a job well done.
