Tragic and thought provoking
The whole tragedy here is that someone lost their life. However, the man who caused the accident was also a lesser victim. He clearly needed help and was probably suffering some form of trauma type illness. Could he have simply apologised to the victims family and sought to do some good work to make amends? Probably. But, trauma can cloud reason. I don’t understand the smiling photograph of him being led away. I think that must have been horrifying to the victims family, but like I say, he should, with a clear mind, have been able to explain. A troubling story, but he came off drugs, which is huge.
