An occasional thoughtful episode here and there. Some good jokes. But there aren’t enough brain cells in the host to merit listening.

Le Boyal you’re a good man. Funny, dry and honest.

I don’t even listen to this on itunes, that’s how good it is. Needed to give it a 5 star rate and review.

The beauty of a daily podcast is the human inconsistency. Sometimes David comes across as an unhinged lunatic (which he is, definitely), sometimes he comes across as a role model (which he is…). Listening to the see-saw makes for an enriching listen session. He says things that are remarkably...Read full review »

Love me a bit of Boyle. Bloody hilarious. Whether you’re interested in sobriety or not, it’s a winner. Funniest podcast I’ve found. Keep it up BOYLE!!!! Big love from London.

I found this show as a suggestion from my android Spotify account, perhaps it had seen enough of my mopary?! Boyle initially is depressed from years of his shenanigans and the episodes are short (you also hope he didn’t off himself). They get Better as Boyle gathers his wits and you begin to hear...Read full review »

Boyle is a bit of a train wreck but 10 mins of listening before work will give you a good laugh. F$$ked up Fridays are the best.

Boyle. Thanks man. Been off the sauce for 28 days today. I’m 183 episodes in. Figured it’s about time I tossed in a review. Appreciate you sticking to it. Every once in a while it’ll start playing the newest podcast posted and I must say, you sound healthier as weird as it sounds. Anyways, it’s...Read full review »

I started to listen because I wanted to stop drinking… quickly realized I might not be that bad and I can have a few drinks every now and then. If you’ve ever wondered if your an alcoholic this is a great litmus test. Now I still listen to remind myself to not become an alcoholic. Win/Win baby!

After going sober 3 months ago I discovered this podcast and found it both funny and helpful. It had become part of my daily recovery…that is, until today when listening to an episode in which Boyle goes on about his son’s friend, a 6 year old autistic child, going as far as calling him...Read full review »

This is the best podcast out there. It’s funny and short and insightful. I laugh out loud at every episode. Even if it hasn’t helped me quit the booze, it has made me smile a hell of a lot.
Wilson Clair via Apple Podcasts · Great Britain · 10/17/21
I listen to this podcast while I do my makeup in the morning and his shrewd sometimes dismal view of the world somehow makes me feel better about life. I listen to the episode corresponding to my own sobriety or a day that I hope to reach. Thanks so much David, for real.

Just started listening yesterday. The fact that it's a daily podcast is ideal. I've always been a very peaceful alcoholic so listening to the exploits of a specifically violent one is entertaining and insightful as well as a cautionary armchair exploration of the nature of addiction. Also...Read full review »

I can relate to all Boyle’s stories and challenges. I’m going to be 10yrs sober next month, and wish there was a podcast like this when I quit booze. Loving this, and I’m only 129 days in on this brilliant podcast. Keep up the good work. See yaaaaah

I love this podcast. I have nearly spit out whatever I was drinking while listening at work. So…coffee or water. It’s super funny and super human at the same time. And…send Boyle a message and he freakin responds!! This show makes my day repeatedly. Thanks Boyle!!
Jrocks75 via Apple Podcasts · United States of America · 09/08/21
Not sure this pod will help you get sober, but it will make you laugh. Bogans, mushies, c*nts, darts, slabs, and loads of stories about drunken mongrels. Perfect 5 minute pods. Pull ya head in, David.

Incredible laughs with a few pieces of REAL advice from a guy who has, by his own admission, tried EVERY drug and nearly drank himself into oblivion. It takes a little while for him to hit his stride… but if you can make it to 2020 when COVID first hits, the episodes are pure gold. Rare to not...Read full review »

David Boyle has a clever thing here, and I intend to catch up and follow along unless it gets boring. Is the podcast inspiring? Not especially.....but it is stealth-mode-informative. Is he funny? Oh, I think so. But most of all, it is his raw honesty (100%) and willingness to put the...Read full review »

I came here for the support first - I track my days not drinking with Boyle’s. I listen to his daily episode around the same time I would start drinking that day myself. Boyle is not very smart but he certainly is hilarious. Actually, I’m not sure if he’s funny or if it’s just his silly Aussie accent that makes me laugh. Either way he does have some great stories. I loved the one where some Irish dude bit off his lip. Cheers mate.

Such a good podcast—the stream of [something] that Boyle uses to get serious or get sarcastic takes you all sorts of different directions, but whoever he goes, you follow and it is incredible. (Not an apple podcast user—Spotify is better—but I’m here for Boyle.)

Very funny man. His voice should be more heard. Cathartic experience listening. God bless Boyle!

I start my day with these hilarious few minutes of David Boyle. Some of the humor may be a bit dark, but still funny. The world is losing its sense of humor. Maybe Boyle can help us find it.
