“Been listening to Idle Thumbs network podcasts since 2014/15 or so, and the first two episodes of 'Important If True' put a sh t eating grin on my face at work the entire time, I was laughing out loud. The crew's long-running in-joke of humanity's impending doom from the eventual rise of machines never fails to be funny, yet the cast also engages in discussions in a way more meaningful than the more popular Bombcast, and it's casual BS'ing. To some, it might seem a risk to abandon their familar grounds of videogames-centric podcasting, but they are definitely up to the task. “Amazing ‘cast with an amazing cast!
Love the topics and zany ‘thought experiments’ they cover. What’s more, they are all extremely articulate and excellently capable at putting words to the intensely abstract concepts discussed. Also, can’t forget, very funny the whole time as well.
