“This show is one of the ones I look forward to listening to. The mix of topics is well outside my normal interests and that is what I value most. Having selected topic experts discuss (and slightly debate) topics creates a modest quality assurance type tension that keeps the material on target. In nearly all podcasts I have listened to so far Melvin keeps the experts from creating mutual topic lovefests (except the one about Astrology). Many of these are well worth keeping and listening to again. Excellent. RickW”

“A programme for anyone with a general interest in things historical. Melvyn Bragg brings together three experts on a particular subject and lets them talk about it. On the whole the input of the experts is concise, informative and accessible. It is a format that could run and run and I hope it does.”
