“Having spent the past four summers reading Robert Caro’s masterful biographies of LBJ, I found this to be a beautiful accompaniment. I would gladly listen to all of Lady Bird’s audio diaries. This podcast does a good job of fleshing out the details.

“In her own voice, Lady Bird Johnson made this such an interesting listen. An extremely intelligent and eloquent woman, I’d say she’d have been more successful than LBJ if she would have had the opportunity he had.”
