She's In the Dark
From her armchair, this podcaster reviews the investigators' case files and their decades of work & decides she could have done it better. The largest hunt for a missing child in US history, but "more should have been done." If this were CSI, they'd have cracked the case by the 45 minute mark. Vainglorious pontificating from someone who's part wanna-be cop and part cop hater. Just as she's about to start her first episode, the case is solved by the investigators who've devoted decades to the case. Whoops. If she recognized their dedication, she'd have no show. So it turns into "well, they've should have done it sooner." If you want superhuman cops who work with 2016 (and beyond) technology, stay in your armchair and turn on Criminal Minds. This is reality. This is small-town Minnesota in 1989. No cellphones, GPS, social media or amber alerts. By blaming the police, you are empowering and vindicating a killer. Avoid this biased, agenda-driven diatribe.Read full review »
