“Someone at Vanity Fair obviously said "Okay, everyone's doing podcasts lately, we have to have a pop culture one" and delegated the task to just anyone. Josh is doing a half decent job, although he lacks confidence when speaking, but Julie sounds like she'd rather be doing anything in the world than paying attention to pop culture, much less recording a podcast on it.

“This podcast definitely tested my ability to listen to unenthusiastic people who sounded who also had some weird voice issues. Like can the guy just clear his throat already?? I’m not an expert on how to make podcasts but there had to be a sound/voice test at some point.”
