A deep dive I didn’t know I wanted
I began listening to the podcast as a way to learn more about the Khmer Rouge Genocide before traveling to Cambodia. And while Lachlan is several episodes in, he hasn’t gotten to the meat of Pol Pot’s regime. He’s teaching his listeners about the building of Angkor Watt and the French Revolution. Lachlan takes listeners on a comprehensive journey through Khmer, SE Asian, and World History as it relates to the Cambodian Genocide. I’ve truly loved hearing history from this perspective and I cannot wait for more episodes!
