“Both of these individuals are very knowledgeable, but the constant berating that Ann gives Eric, which then turns into an argument between the two of them. It’s intolerable.
Ann is super smart and accomplished, but please this is called INDIE wire, meaning the focus is on appreciation and evaluation of INDIE film. So why are you arguing with Eric regarding his INDIE perspective.
Doesn’t anyone in the INDIE WIRE organization read the reviews? I guess not, because it’s remarkable how many listeners over time, have expressed the same opinion and yet nothing changes. I actually delayed writing my review, after seeing how many people were complaining, I thought the atmosphere might change. I love film...I love Indie Film, very sad to say Au Revoir.”
