A place of education and understanding...
I'm a survivor of a lot of the issues discussed in this podcast. Rachel is compassionate and intelligent and does an amazing job giving vocabulary to and explanation for these systems of control. This podcast has been a part of my healing and I look forward to listening each week. I particularly have enjoyed the end segments where she speaks so directly and compassionately to people coming out of these environments about how to treat themselves. When talking about a religion/ “cult” there needs to be an actual context, information about why is it a cult, what is the difference between a religion and a cult? Etc.
