Ugh
I was excited that my favorite Austen novel was being adapted into a modern audio drama, but this was poorly done on every level. Voice acting was fine. Each character was made into shallow, narcissistic, highly unlikeable people. No redeeming humor.

The format uses a text exchange as its main narrative device, so you can expect about 75% of every episode to be peppered with hundreds of little iPhone-like dings, pops, types and swipes that will slowly drive you insane.

Well narrated and fun silly rom com style story to listen to, you lost me at the wedding parts as I found that very unlikely to happen but nice to listen to in the background of working :)

Fits into the Jane Austen genre, for sure. Engaging plot, well-acted by all, and the writing is superb.
