This old Trekkie loves the Treksperts
I was a bit late to this but am now devouring episodes as fast as I can. In what other podcast are you going to hear a spot-on impersonation of Gene Roddenberry? These guys apparently mind-melded with me while I was asleep to create the perfect Star Trek podcast. Funny and smart, like hanging out with your Trekkie friends, full of deep cuts. My first memory of Star Trek comes from 1968 when I was seven-years-old and living in Athens, Ohio. We had a babysitter over and we were watching "A Private Little War." Right as the Mugato leaps onto Kirk the power goes out (thunderstorm?). My love for the show was cemented when it went into syndication in the 70s, and my fondest movie memory is standing in line at the El Con Theater in Tucson Arizona on opening day for Star Trek:TMP, surrounded by ecstatic fellow Trekkies.Read full review »
