Will you plecase explain how our brain activate our day to day acțions. Also where our mind resides. Îs the mind only an abstract word Without Any existente. Is depression only a problem of the physical part in the brain And not caused by flawed unconscious contents.

I don’t understand the point of crippling my experience with ads about Las Vegas or other US-only advertisers when I live in Europe. What does neuroscience say about this? ;)

He leans pretty far left but that is a great thing because I lean really right and he helps me see things from a different perspective. Great job and great show! Keep it up.

Great podcast! Fascinating topics with amazing insights. BUT, lately it feels like there are more and more advertisements. There are some that are trying to sell religious ideology. Not too scientific and doesn’t track with the theme of the podcast.

Very informative For the people always complaining with stuff like volume, slowness, and commercials, you can turn down the volume, speed up the audio, and skip through the commercials.

Loving David Eagleman’s enthusiasm and his non judgemental approach regarding motives, motivation, free will etc. That’s the opinion this wet, 3 pound meat- jelly trapped in its skull on the Isle of Skye. More please! 😎👍

My hope is the sense of openness, awe and willingness to discover more shared in this presentation will inspire those who are trapped in the illusions of security through blinders to ask questions again. I had my doubts about this series…so pleased I remained. Many thanks.

There’s seldom that I come across a podcast that seems genuinely in love with science and the human experience. I’m always chasing a Carl Sagan type personality. Dr Eagleman is definitely that kind guy.

A-lot of secular pseudo scientific mumbo jumbo in these podcasts. It is a mix of large quantities of current scientific speculation and actual science fiction. Good ear candy if you are bored or want something to fall asleep to.

Fascinating well-researched topics are covered but Dr Eagleman’s over-dramatic speaking style ruins it for me. A lot of things are over-explained; it sometimes feels “dumbed down” Worth a try but not for me
