“Soooo interesting ! Just finished the discussion on synesthesia .
I have always seen the words I am saying or someone else is saying instantly projected in my mind . It includes punctuation with the words spelled accurately and is simultaneous with the speech. So I must receive and process speech as the printed word whether it’s me talking or someone talking to me .
The auditory and the visual senses are somehow intertwined differently in my brain I guess . Always thought everyone processed language this way .
I also see the days of the week and the months very specifically laid out spatially . I loved hearing this explained with such clarity! When I’ve told people I have this cross divergence of two senses , it is always met with incredulity. Now I have more info to explain my oddity ! 😊”
