SUCH an absorbing show! Very weird ads.
This show is so compelling I sort of binged listened to what they have so far. I kept saying out loud, “God this is so interesting!” It’s real content. Not for people who want the Ted Talk bullet point version. Not for people who need a ton of storytelling. So who is it for? It’s for you if you can’t stop wondering about the human brain - or any brain. It covers topics that aren’t on other shows. the host is warm and captivating- and respectful of your intelligence. i will say there’s a bizarre disconnect between the show and the ads sometimes. One literally has a man in semi-hypnotic tones over dreamy music taking to me about Gods plans for me. It doesn’t pair well with a show about neuroscience.

Every episode has new great nuggets of information that I want to share with anyone who will listen. Keep up the great work Dr. E!

Great podcast. I just finished listening to the book series “Children of Time” by Adrian Tchaikovsky which is a science fiction series based on the idea of “uplifting” animals with human traits. Another good science fiction book related to changing human genomes is “Seven Eves” by Neal Stevenson.

Enjoyed the first podcast which I found fascinating and easy to understand with his clear explanation. Only negative was the repetitive inane commercials.
