Watch the false balance
Normally I enjoy the show; finding it both interesting and informative. However, the podcast with Jonathan Haidt was over the top in its false balance and "both siderism". Politics today is indeed a gridlocked mess due to extremism but the idea that both sides are to blame or that both sides possess equally valid concepts for how the government should be effectively run is ludicrous. What an interesting exercise in hypocrisy! I listed to two podcasts and they were almost totally devoted to political attacks against conservatives, t-Party, Bush, from a thin veneer of science resting on a giant mound of self-assured superiority. My number one reaction is SHAME.
