I love discussing the show and hearing different views so was happy to find this. However there’s a lot of off topic banter and some of the panel (i.e. especially McCall) seem to not have a great grasp on storylines and things that are supposed to be viewed with a broader context in mind. The...Read full review »

The omission of showing the keycard exchange an the conversation between Andrew and his brother after the pool confrontation were meant to be ambiguous. We were not supposed to see it. It’s meant to cause the audience to think about various points view.

I’ve given this a few tries as Insecure is one of my favorite shows and I enjoy recaps. Each time I’ve listened I found myself wondering if we all watch the same show. Some of the discussions are around things that never happened. The hosts also are all over the place. I’ll stick with Insecuritea.

I think there needs to be a stronger male representation. The male on the cast is speaking from the male perspective but he isn’t being introspective enough to fully express the male point of view so that the female listeners understand the male mindset. It’s like he either doesn’t know HOW to...Read full review »

Lacklustre and weird analysis

Like other reviewers, they unfortunately don’t stay on topic enough. Wouldn’t be a bad idea to switch up the host.

Can’t stand how they don’t stay on track and review the episode in order. They discuss scenes that happened in the end first, then talk about the beginning. That’s not how you review a show. They also seem to review things that never happened on the show.

I love insecure but the main host of this podcast is kind of annoying. Her jokes were very corny. I wasn’t even able to listen for more than 5 minutes. Please switch hosts.

The review on episode 6 was so bad. The hosts didn't have the story line straight, and almost seemed to be making up things as they went along. Some of the comments about the characters were unfounded and obnoxious. Real disappointment.Read full review »

Go off topic too much, not funny, inauthentic and don't do the show justice. They have the potential to be really funny but keep going on long stupid and unfunny tangents. Jokes aren't funny because one of them is really trying way too hard.Read full review »

Now I remember why I didn't subscribe initially, some of the hosts are snobs. This was just the first podcast to post a review of the show.Read full review »

A pale imitation of the official podcast with Chrissle and Fran. Obnoxious commentary. Inauthentic hosts. A complete waste of time.
