Giving three stars today because the first episode took such a sensationalist approach to the Ed Gein background. I listen to true crime podcasts and Hollywood/movie podcasts, but the first episode trailed a bit too much into gruesome for the sake of gruesome. Hoping the episodes on the film itself will be more balanced. I have enjoyed "Hollywood and Crime" and their approach to the more gruesome aspects of the Balck Dahlia murders. Will review again after I hear more.Read full review »

As a lover of old thriller movies and anything murderinoish, this podcast is fantastic! Hitchcock was a master and to get the back story and understand where his inspirations come from, ❤❤❤! Wondery has produced another top notch podcast! Keep them coming! I need more!
