“I’m on ep 3 and I am enjoying it so far. I have worked in the mental health field for close to 20 years, mostly with people who are DD. I recently took a position working with people with MI and wanted to learn more about schizophrenia specifically because I have an individual w/it that is asking me for Info because he was not taught about his dx. But I do wonder if because you have schizophrenia you are more sensitive to it being in the movies. I can’t think of one movie (and I love horror movies) that has portrayed a killer or violent person as being schizophrenic. They may have, but that’s not what I took from the movie. I watched bird box and was racking my brain when you said they referenced schizophrenia. And then when you gave more info I remembered. But that is not what I took from the movie. Just a thought.....
