Amazing podcast. And wonderful for that brave man. To go through all that over such a long period and only his conviction that he was innocent. My heart goes out to him. His best years destroyed. And to think those Garda were allowed to carry on that abuse and nobody shouted stop. A sad history.

Incredible insight into this crime . So much information and so heartfelt and the family were so amazing in telling their side of the story . Her parents and brother are so proud of their girls

This is an amazing podcast. I was completely hooked. An unbelievable story told so well. Well done Frank & team for a job very well done. And huge respect given to all who were so deeply effected by this horrific event. RIP Una I hope your story will some day have a closing to the final chapter.

This is one of the best podcasts I’ve ever listened to. Absolutely heartbreaking to think what all the families have suffered for over 50 years. It would be fantastic if someone came forward all these years later. I looked forward to the new episodes every Tuesday and eagerly await Frank and his...Read full review »

This was amazing, I’ve seen so many US miscarriages of justice but didn’t know we had our own here in Ireland, talk about tunnel vision on these lads, I can’t imagine what they have been through and the death of the friend is so sad, I cried so much. Would love to see the killer brought to...Read full review »

Excellent journalism on all series. Many tears were shed listening to the people who shared their harrowing and heartbreaking stories.

All episodes all 3 series I couldn’t stop listening. A real life crime podcast. You brought life to all the victims and their families. I know they are real crimes but for listeners you brought it all to life you made it all real without pictures. Well done Frank Aisling and Lorcan.

What an incredible story, it’s hard not to think that these same vicious practices aren’t still ongoing within an Garda siochaha. So glad that the right result was achieved in the end, but it shouldn’t ever have taken so many years. No winners here at all.

The final conclusion, thank you, by Frank is the most beautiful heartfelt display of genuine admiration for such a lovely family that brought me to absolute tears. The story is just so unbelievably sad and tragic that my heart goes out to Nancy, Christy & John. I can’t believe they have been...Read full review »

I’m not all the way through and I want to listen and love this podcast so much (season 1). The audio is bad. It’s so hard to hear the interviews and at one point the audio completely cut out. If there is any way to fix that, DO IT. Please. Not sure I’m going to finish the rest of the episodes, or...Read full review »

I’ve heard the Charles Self story before but the detail in this podcast is excellent. Great to see, a straight person interested to tell the story! Gay history is typically documented by gay people. Thanks Frank!

Such a reality life listen. So sad and so brilliantly adapted.

I think the podcast is well made as in it tells the tragic story very vividly. I’m slightly confused by the fact if Bertie is possibly the perpetrator why isn’t it ever mentioned that his sketch could be a cover for his (possible) crime.

Story is very engaging and I had no problems hearing Frank, but the audio quality of the family interviews is noticeably poor. I don’t know if it’s a matter of the device used to record the family interviews being poor quality or if the interviewees speak a bit too quietly, but at a couple of...Read full review »

Podcast is really well researched but the sound is terrible. The sound in the interviews is very loud and then goes really loud at the solo parts. Had to keep adjusting sound

Saddest podcast I’ve ever listened to. Really well written and researched. Christy and Nancy are so dignified and brave and their son John an absolute pillar of strength.

It sounds like a junior cert student trying to add in as many words as possible into their English paper 2 exam. Needless words and exaggeration of sentences makes it so hard to listen to.

This is such a heartbreaking story. I really feel for Christy, Nancy, John and all of the family. I wish them all the very best. So brave of them to tell their story. Poor Sharon, Zarah and Nadia. Lives cut sort by an evil man. Probably one of the best podcasts I’ve listened to. So well told and...Read full review »

A very sad story, centering on a lovely couple. More context would have filled the podcast a bit better than the discussion around sentencing, while I understand the family would of course take issue with the rulings I wondered how helpful it was for them, 2 people who’s grief is very obvious. It...Read full review »

Shockingly bad sound quality. Makes it impossible to listen to this podcast. Such an important subject matter shouldn’t be affected by bad sound in interviews. Frustrating!
