A little disappointing
It’s as if five gormless students had been given a cheap audio special effects machine and a bottle of whiskey. Hideous disjointed crashes and bangs, echoes, vibrations, fade in and fade out; like a rubbish trailer for a B grade action movie. At the same time, no adults had realised that podcasts tend to work better with some structure, a moderator, a host, some proper questions, leading from one anecdote to the next, keeping the thing moving in one smooth direction etc etc. A real shame because out of the jumble, from time to time, one can pick out some wonderful insights and brilliant memories not necessarily shared previously. Proof that less is more. This simply might have been better had it just been Alistair, a selection of some of the finest rugby players of the era, a round table, a crate of beers and a microphone in the middle of it all. Done.

More reviews of Inside The Tour
Quite simply one of the greatest podcasts I have listened to in a very long time.

This is an amazing story from the people who these days are quite literally legends of the game. There will never be sports tours quite like that again! As much batting as boozing
