“I gave the podcast a 5 star rating, because I enjoyed the subject matter and would really like to listen to a regular podcast about their stores, their people and their products.
So what did I hate?
The fact that that the series seemed very disconnected from the TJ philosophy. This thing was WAY overproduced. All the "NPR" style audio devices were at play. Room mikes on conversations prior to interviews, audio montage and multiple teases.
It was frustrating to be told what we were going to hear next time, then be told at the begining of the next episode what we are going to hear this time and then several times in the episode to be told .."Then later we'll..."
The hosts are talented and engaging, the content is interesting. They should approach their podcast the way they approach the Fearless Flyer, with simple, direct stories and minimal editing. Then it would be a Peerless Podcast.”Read full review »
