I love this podcast and really appreciate the content. I just wish the speaker would slow down slightly. Something about the tone and speed makes it difficult to focus and absorb the information. Otherwise a great podcast to supplement learning!

This podcast is helpful and clear. It's more detailed than I need but that's a bonus. Short easy to digest given it's topic I struggle with and it comes with slides!!! Fantastic.Read full review »

I have exams in two weeks, his revision has really helped my studying by simplifying anatomy.

I love the content of the podcast. Unfortunately the voice is too high in tone and talks a little to fast for me to focus on the actual content. I've tried slowing down the content but the voice is still too awkward to pay attention too. If the presenter of the podcast would slow down the...Read full review »

Like probably thousands of doctors having qualified from Cambridge, Mr Whitaker is an exceptional educationalist, and it was effortless learning from him, and his fellow teachers. I often use the website to explain anatomy to patients.

Excellent Podcasts. 1 week before My part 1 surgical exams I discovered these. Listened on my drive home and could quickly recite it all. The equivalent reading in 'Lasts' may have taken several hours or more! Excellent revision tool and a different learning method to reading all the...Read full review »

These are absolute gold from Mr Whitaker. I have used them since they came out in 2007 to study for both English RCS and Australian RACS primary surgical exams. The podcasts, online pictures and book complement Lasts anatomy 9th Ed very nicely, and are so clearly and simply stated. It's a...Read full review »

The podcasts are purely audio. You must look to their website to see what is being talked about. Perhaps Dr. Whitaker can improve the podcasting to include images. It would certainly make things more interesting for the iPod/iPhone user as opposed to the person who has access to the Internet. A...Read full review »

I found this very educational and will recommend it to my Reflexology colleagues here in Ireland

I found them absolutely amazing. What really shocked me as well, is that they contain the level of detail needed for a medical degree. Previously, I had been seriously struggling with anatomy for college but these proved a life saver. Now before I go over the material or do a dissection, I work...Read full review »

Thank you Dr. Whitaker. I am going back to school for nursing and speed a lot of time on the road. Now I can learn my anatomy while driving, exersicing or sitting at my desk. Please keep this up.

Very useful learning/revision tool for those who learn in ways other than ploughing away on your own. Spoken word with useful examples and audio/visual aide-memoires 'colour-coding' concepts to make recall easier. Certainly helped me in 5th Year. Many Thanks.Read full review »

Not for the faint hearted, and also best apreciated with the diagrams on instant anatomy, however this is an excelent resource. Anatomical terms are used frequently, and anatomy as a subject is very visual really: so this is best for revision rather than straight learning. I have found it very...Read full review »

Having bought the CD, I listen to a podcast each day whilst having a run. I am a medical student and it should be noted that this podcast probably isn't best suited to those whom are new to anatomy. By definition anatomy is visual and to explain it without visuals is a very difficult...Read full review »

Great anatomy review if those classes are in your distant past like mine. I ordered the CD from the website. It was in my mailbox in Utah in about a week. A LOT of info. Very impressive. Thanks Dr. Whitaker!

Anatomy is a notoriously difficult topic to teach and Dr Whitaker's lectures are full of character and enthusiasm. He often gives excellent anecdotal ways of remembering key anatomical structures. However, anatomy is impossible without strong visual prompts and spacial diagrams - something which...Read full review »
