When the debate question itself cannot be agreed on...
Debates are not soapbox moments, they depend on clear and factually led arguments. A difficult topic to chair but your panelists should be capable of more than spouting their own camp’s rhetoric. And if the definition of the debate’s core tenets - populism and liberalism - are repeatedly misunderstood or misconstrued, perhaps a clear definition and accepted understanding from all parties might be necessary to enable any progression of thought.

If in doubt about the balance, just look at one side criticising it for being all about minorities& left wing while the other attacking them for supporting racists. Shows that they’re doing something right here. I’ve heard about 4 debates so far and they were very interesting& well balanced.

This is a rare treat. Indepth, nuanced, sometimes humourous but always wonderfully articulated debate. My only gripe is that they do not include the full broadcast, including the result, which is really frustrating as it so riveting.

Incredibly biased, lazy and unbalanced. Only listen if you want to stay in your bubble.
