Same old Same old
Jonathan Wells shows once again that ID is unwilling to learn from its mistakes. Yes, many phyla seem to appear out of nowhere in a 50-100 million period of time, called the Cambrian explosion and yet, both fossil and other evidence shows clearly how these phyla connect to pre-cambrian times. Of course, fossil record is scarce and yet recent findings, mostly in China, are connecting the dots and contrary to what ID wants you to believe, the fossil record strongly supports descent with modification. The upside down nature of the tree of life is a common misrepresentation by creationists. For instance, they take the fallacious position that the tree is upside down: first phyla and finally species. What they do not realize is that this is an inevitable outcome of Linnean classification. After all every species belongs to a phyla and thus a the higher categories have to arise simultaneous with the first species. And remember that ID remains fully without ANY answers as to how to explain these data. No pathways, no methods, no evidence nothing. ID revels in ignorance and as such has caused itself to remain scientifically vacuous.

Come on! ID is not and never will be science, searching for evidence that may be construed as supporting a pre determined outcome can never be science. Please Apple, stop giving time and platforms to these people. The sad thing is that they are targetting the young and the non-science educated...Read full review »

It was astonishing how many inaccuracies and misunderstandings of evolutionary theory are packed into this podcast. Admittedly, I only listened to ~10 minutes while looking for some interesting biology podcasts. Please, iTunes, remove this from the Natural Sciences category!
