“This represents the evolution of a failed religious, social and political ideology based, not upon science, but, at its base, upon flawed (as are all literal biblical interpretations), literal interpretations of the bible. That is, the "criticisms" of evolutionary theory (and geology and chemistry and physics) leveled by ID ideologues are driven by the apriori belief that there is an intelligent desigener (he-who-shall-not-be-named-explicitly-by-the-IDeologues, so as not to run afoul of prior court cases against Creation Science) and are not driven by science or a desire to understand the natural world.
