Can't live without this podcast
At first I was a bit skeptical when listening to the promotion for this podcast bc I thought the idea had been replicated many times over in the podcast ecosystem. I was wrong!!! This podcast has me sitting in my car wanting not to miss the last few minutes. Jamil has a way of communicating very complex ideas and the interconnectedness of race, class and gender succinctly and effectively. More than anything this podcast is smart--and doesn't shy away from its academic flair-- it goes beyond the "what" and deeply investigates the "why" and "how". Keep on keeping on!!! Thank you Jamil and thank you The New Republic. I'd love to hear an intersections on technology workers and race, class and gender (promotions, wage gap, diversity initiatives and meritocracy, immigration/H1B caps, and recent lawsuits--Ellen Pao/ Microsoft).

This podcast challenges my thinking and positions I've held since childhood. I'm also learning about Cubans now considered "white". Who would have thought??!! Keep up the good work Jamil.
