Thank you for a really important, powerful and relevant podcast series. Episode 14: Fighting for Black Lives, in Flint and Beyond was particularly illuminating. Hope to see more in the future.

Such a great podcast - Jamil is a gracious host and the topics are of the moment. So important to have smart conversation on race, politics, body image - loved that one in particular! - and everything else this show decides to focus on.

I loved that you were able to put these types of conversations into the atmosphere. These are the necessary discussions that lead to understanding. I will never forget the interview you did with Tamir Rice's grandmother. It moved me. What am I saying? Every single episode did. I pray that someone...Read full review »

Easily the smartest and most interesting podcast out there, featuring some of the most progressive and intellectual voices of our time. I'm sad Jamil is leaving but I'm so hopeful it'll continue on somehow.

The Intersection sparks a refreshing and enlightening conversation on current events and seemingly archaic issues. The conversations are fluid, and honestly make it much easier to navigate contentious spaces. This show empowers me. This show has helped me remain grounded. The show matters.

Thank you for having candid discussions on race, gender and identity. These are the discussions that need to happen more often and be heard by more people. Keep up the good work!

I am a psychoanalyst who has just joined a study group to talk about these issues. We have been struck how difficult it is to speak honestly to each other about race, culture, class, gender etc. This show goes beyond the “Up with people,” simplicity that often accompanies such discussions. The...Read full review »

This is a rare and informative podcast that never talks down to its listeners but always surprises and assumes intelligence and good faith. The latest episode about the murder of Tamir Rice was both harrowing and impossible to not listen to. Thank you for talking about these things in such a...Read full review »

This podcast challenges my thinking and positions I've held since childhood. I'm also learning about Cubans now considered "white". Who would have thought??!! Keep up the good work Jamil.

Stumbled across Intersection in my quest for social/racial analyses of Hurricane Katrina, but was surprised and so excited to see a wide range of topics covered in other episodes. Jamil is a great interviewer, fun to listen to, and the guests are always insightful and interesting. These are such...Read full review »

At first I was a bit skeptical when listening to the promotion for this podcast bc I thought the idea had been replicated many times over in the podcast ecosystem. I was wrong!!! This podcast has me sitting in my car wanting not to miss the last few minutes. Jamil has a way of communicating very...Read full review »

The creators of this show do a wonderful job. It's interesting, the topics are very well picked, it's well produced, and the guests are always good. I want sure what to expect going into this because a lot of online content on these topics is kinda empty and repetitive, but this show totally...Read full review »

Loved the show on football and the range of guests involved. As a parent who only recently decided to encourage my kids to play high school football information on the topic of head injuries is always welcome. My personal compromise was to ask them to play as kicker or on the line.

When Kimberlé Crenshaw herself appears on the first episode of a podcast to help explain intersectionality, you KNOW you've got something good. This is SUCH a smart show, and I'm so glad to have something to recommend to people when inviting them to become more informed on the key topics of race,...Read full review »
