“First off, I really dislike anything related to Apple, but Johnny and Sam provide so much value through this podcast that I finally broke down and installed iTunes and set up an account just to leave this review. I've read a number of investment books and listened to some radio shows over the past ten years and felt like I was just stuck in the grind with everyone else leaving my money in stocks and ETFs and drawing meager returns. Then I found this podcast and it's really opened up a new world of possibilities with so many modern and alternative investment opportunities out there. Don't skip any episodes because each one provides valuable insights. Johnny and Sam are regular guys asking CEOs the kinds of questions we all want to know. I mean, who doesn't want to know if Brew is the PeerStreet CEO's real name. Seriously though, these guys have a great thing going here and they're providing insight you won't find anywhere else along with how it's working out for them. I've already invested in a startup through Indiegogo, a REIT in my ROTH IRA (for tax purposes), and became a virtual landlord through Fundrise after finding out about them from Johnny and Sam and doing a little follow-on research on my own. All three of those investments help me diversify and should destroy the returns of my old strategy. I'll know for sure in a year or so but either way, I'm learning a lot in the process and that's a payoff in itself. Don't waste your time looking for any other investment podcasts unless you want to hear the same thing your great grandfather would say about waiting for the next big depression to get into blue chips.
