Amazing detail. Relaxed delivery. Healing impact.
The dynamic between these guys (brothers) is fun and campy - a nice touch given the tough topics they often cover. Their approach helps you “hang in there”, long enough to gain a new cultural perspective and way of assessing the History you know and how that shaped personal beliefs. Really great detail! As an audio-biased learner, I’m devouring what would otherwise put me to sleep when reading. So glad I found you guys. As a descendant of the Kanienʼkehá꞉ka (Mohawk), you guys are really helping me to heal, and potentially re establish my relationship with my family. My story is the too familiar: kill them, steal/adopt, deny culture, denied reEnrollment by my own people. Your effort is healing me. Wado ꮹꮩ🙏🏽 Miigwech ᒮᒃᐌᑦᒡ 🙏🏽 Nya:Weh 🙏🏽

More reviews of Iroquois History and Legends

This podcast is only one of two podcasts that make my heart skip a beat when a new episode shows up in my iTunes. Thanks...Read full review »
