Same story of American history, with the stars of the show being the Iroquois six nations! The dynamic of having the two brothers put forth the narrative is a nice touch!

This is a very well done podcast. The education of and history of the Iroquois is done in a lot more detail than I received in school. I am only 12 episodes into the series however I find the podcast very valuable for filling in the gaps in our traditional school curriculum. Well done guys.

I’m late to the game with this podcast, but once I started I was hooked. I teach art history with a focus on American Indian/indigenous art in the South Carolina. I have enjoyed listening to the correlation between the Haudenosaunee and the Cherokee people. I am actually heading to NY for the...Read full review »

Having grown up in the Mohawk Valley in Eastern NY this podcast is fascinating. These brothers have fun but present a wonderful history of the Iroquois culture, beliefs, and everyday life. Exactly what I was looking for and I am thoroughly enjoying the podcast! Thanks Andrew and Caleb!

Simply fantastic account of early-modern (post 1600) North American history from a Native perspective, but delivered by a pair of White brothers with a deep understanding & respect for Native people. Deeply informed, well told. Essential. One of the very best history podcasts out there.

I love how in depth it is and their sensitivity to the subject. I’m learning a lot about this region of Native Americans, not just the Iroquois, but especially them, and the interactions with the Europeans.

The dynamic between these guys (brothers) is fun and campy - a nice touch given the tough topics they often cover. Their approach helps you “hang in there”, long enough to gain a new cultural perspective and way of assessing the History you know and how that shaped personal beliefs. Really...Read full review »
