On the right track but…
I’m only on season 1, love the story aspect of this podcast. Kayla was absolutely in an abusive relationship and openly talks about how her mental state was not good, which makes her decision making understandable (at times). Also, manipulative behavior makes people do many things they would normally not. However, this pod completely ignores and never questions any of her behaviors, she makes a lot of selfish decisions (over and over) like having her grandma pay for things like a trip to France, assistance, looking at houses way out of price range after getting evicted etc. and it’s just glossed over or laughed at. Taking accountability and growing plus telling a story from a learning perspective is more beneficial. I feel for her, but from a podcast perspective could be done better.

Love the content and the host, thank you for giving women and men platform to tell their story to hopefully help others struggling in similar situations. You have inspired me to face my demons and finally talk to someone about the past abuse I have experienced and never worked through. Thank you 🫶🏻

You have opened my eyes to the fact that I need...Read full review »

The woman’s choice to enter a relationship with a severely mentally ill man in order to get back at her husband...Read full review »
