“If you've ever been a dedicated fan of an artist that the world has yet to discover (Scott Miller's bands Game Theory/Loud Family, anybody?), this story may very well be for you. A nice coincidence (?) that it debuts with another Night Vale Presents podcast, I Only Listen to the Mountain Goats, which is also about (at least in part) what it means to be a fan. Jacquelyn Landgraf's voice is just right: warm, enthusiastic, and with perfect conviction. Will we ever hear any of the songs? Do they, and the artist, really exist?
