“Jon Meacham has put together a phenomenal podcast from the creative idea of teaching Americans about our history through our own spoken word - the speeches and ideas that resonate through the generations, the ones that stir within us that hope that we can continue to pursue a more perfect union. These works are educational and uplifting, but they also serve as a convicting and sobering reminder that our work is not done and we must continue to strive to inform ourselves. The snippets of speeches are well cultivated. The narrative backstory is well articulated. The musical interludes are seamless and serve to tell the story. In short, a timely and very well put-together podcast to help us all navigate and appreciate our history. Highly recommend! 5 stars!”
