A very detailed description of medieval Vijayanagara
The Podcaster doesn’t shy away from calling a spade a spade. It could be Rama Raya’s foolish policies that eventually led to the demise of his empire, perhaps the greatest empire southern India had ever seen or the relentless foreign invasions that broke the cultural yoke of Indic civility. Very contrast and realistic compared to another similar podcast Yuddha that simply whitewashes or at times even undermines the effect the invasions had on India.
