You can’t just make a wonderful series and stop producing. That is a sin. We need more of these. Get back to work. Jokes aside is a really wonderful series and it’s analyzed very well

The details and the depth to which Mr Narendra Vikram goes is just unbelievable. To have visited Hampi several times and not knowing everything is such an eye opener. The insightful narration of Deccan history before Vijayanagara is breathtaking. Great listening to this and thank you so much 🙏🏻

Worthy of binge listening. I started and just couldn’t stop as the narration is gripping as well extremely interesting. The language is superb as well as the content is well researched and kindles interest in the subject for a novice like me. I will probably revisit some of the earlier episodes...Read full review »

A must listen for everyone interested to learn a thing or two from History. It shows how historical accounts are derived, created and even manipulated - and the resulting perceptions we hold even today. History aside, the show throws light on almost all historical sites in South India. Be sure...Read full review »

A very well researched and narrated account of the great Vijayanagar Empire. Having visited the great city of Hampi, now in ruins, one can correlate the prosperity and greatness of last great Hindu ruler before Marathas. Worth mentioning of his research is the fact that it uses multiple sources...Read full review »

The Podcaster doesn’t shy away from calling a spade a spade. It could be Rama Raya’s foolish policies that eventually led to the demise of his empire, perhaps the greatest empire southern India had ever seen or the relentless foreign invasions that broke the cultural yoke of Indic civility. Very...Read full review »

A few months ago I watched an interview where a famous celebrity said that the one thing she feels at loss always is that she knows very little about her history or heritage. That sat with me even after months and I pondered how blessed are some of us who have a treasure trove of it. This podcast...Read full review »

This podcast grows on you. The narration and storytelling is ace. What got me hooked on is the assurance that the series would be based on ‘substance’ rather than ‘sequence’. That in itself offers a fresh perspective for diving into a ‘historical review’ of any kind. Being born and raised in...Read full review »

Keep up the great work, Ithihasa team👍. I could clearly see all the hard work and research done to put this together. Always felt history to be boring, your authentic presentation makes it thoroughly engaging. I genuinely feel this is one of the best podcasts for Indian history👌
