I tried to listen to the Mary bell episode and couldn’t get too far in… I thought I was listening to a silly girl with a funny voice and couldn’t handle it. After a long time I came back to this episode with a pretty pessimistic attitude. After some time I found it was incredibly well done… and...Read full review »

one of the best true crime podcasts i’ve listened to , very engaging an easy relaxed vocal style ,an accent that i personally find comfortable as being a fellow northerner , focusing on victims as much as giving perpetrators of sometimes appalling crimes enough attention to explain crimes without...Read full review »

Her voice is incredible. It’s amazing how she can share such riveting information & keep you interested in these lesser known cases, at the same time her voice is so calm. I could listen to her talk about anything! As a fellow true crime podcaster it’s always cool to find a podcaster who...Read full review »

I’ve listened to the whole back catalogue of Jenny’s podcasts and I’ve really enjoyed them. She focuses much more on the victims and who they were than any other podcast I’ve listened to. Her episodes are well researched and well presented and I love her accent!

When I heard moms and murder say just how kind you were. I had to check you out. That matters to me :) Wow so glad I did Great job 👏🏼👏🏼♥️🇨🇦

I really enjoy hearing these stories from the North of my homeland. The research is first class. And I love Henny’s northern accent.

I find your coverage of lesser known true crime stories interesting. Personally, I get tired (no offense to the victims or their families) of hearing the same high profile cases repeatedly. Keep up the great work!!

I would really rather NOT hear the life story of the perpetrator. They have not done anything in life worthy of airtime..

Being from Nottingham, and of a certain age. I remember the Black Panther case clearly. Also there have been several cases in my area I didn’t remember. All episodes are presented well, thoughtfully and with obviously excellent and thorough research. Not only that but the host generously...Read full review »

The re-telling of Anne Maguire and the Robert Maltby and Sophie Lancaster brought a tear to my eye, they were told with sympathy and such reverence for the victims. When you listen to a lot of true crime podcasts you get a bit blasé about the details and it was ‘nice’ if that’s the right word to...Read full review »

Besides supporting the self-proclaimed Marxist group: BLM, this is a great podcast! Instead of supporting a violent group, let’s use our platform to promote real change through congresspeople, town hall meetings, and becoming educated voters of our sheriffs.
