This is a really good Canadian political podcast - no one is screaming at each other or talking over each other - I appreciate that

Your recent podcast on the reality of the liberal pharmacare program was very informative. I appreciate the clarity and thoroughness that you put into presenting your podcasts. Thank you.!

These podcasts go deeply into issues. I appreciate the caliber of the guests. Always interesting and Althea is never afraid to ask the thought questions. One request . . . I would like to see this go weekly. Thank you. Don Wielinga

This show is the best in Canada for its deep dive long format and top notch guests. Wish it was weekly.

And some people wonder why public sentiment is in favour of defunding the CBC… This At Issue columnist is so blatantly anti conservative that she makes the other liberals on the panel ( all of them) seem palatable. Crying about P.P. not giving her fodder for her pro liberal agenda articles at...Read full review »

I first discovered Althia through her panelist work on “At Issue” and always appreciated the insights she brought to the table, and her willingness to be the one to say “the quiet part out loud” when it’s needed! Getting to benefit from her journalism through a whole podcast has been a dream!...Read full review »

The podcast only really covers the Liberals and NDP. Well produced but lacking balance.

sad
It’s hard to avoid the impression that this is bought and paid for Liberal propaganda. The host seems to be 100% on the Liberal Party of Canada’s side. This is unfortunate, because the production of this podcast is great. A missed opportunity.

So biased and supports a corrupt incompetent government. What kind of a journalist is this. She gets 0/10

Even though it is well put together, it tends to have a very pejorative coverage…

Extremely well put together. Goes by so fast!! Engaging and insightful. I would highly recommend. The episode on Housing with Scott Aitchison was amazing

Thank you for the interview with Wesley Wark regarding potential foreign interference in Canadian affairs. It elevated à deteriorating discussion.

Should just be renamed the Liberal Party of Canada propaganda podcast

Appreciated the way Althia gave her interviewees room to express their humility before the gravity of that which they legislate. Her question to Minister Lametti around taking the time to get it right seemed reasonable, and not answered in an entirely convincing manner. Nonetheless, a difficult...Read full review »

I do like the content and variety of guests. But, unlike your previous podcast, I find this format disjointed and difficult to follow.

Well researched and well crafted. This podcast gets deep about political conversations we should have.

I really appreciate Althia Raj from her appearances on CBCs At Issue, and glad to have more from her on this podcast. This one is more focussed on the guests than Raj’s own analysis but she does a great job hosting and the guests are very well chosen and offer interesting perspectives on events....Read full review »

Althia is one of the country’s leading political experts but what really sells this series is the artful blending of news sound bites with interviews and then ending with a round table discussion. It’s not as edgy as say “Curse if Politics” but I appreciate the expertise and informed voices...Read full review »

Well done! Good guests and good discussion. Covering some of the most important but difficult issues. Better than CBC At Issue.

I am very impressed by the clarity of the questions asked and the way in which Althea doesn’t accept a non-answer from her guests. Thorough and insightful.

To go on an extended break just after you started makes me wonder why. Does news not happen in the summer?

Althea has a knack of asking critical questions and getting her guests to reveal more than they had planned. She puts together an excellent show with sharp wit and great analytical and political knowledge

I avoid podcasts with politicians as guests. Althia manages to makes everyone human and engaging. One of the reasons I’ve decided to keep my digital Toronto Star subscription. I want to support content like this!

I like the conversational format! The fact that you’re still asking the tough questions is extremely gratifying. I believe this will be a go-to podcast!

To AR Enjoyed the show I am 60 yr old (mostly retired & mostly Liberal). born in Montreal. now living in Hamilton.
