Podcast let down by unfortunate bad choice of host
The idea/goal behind this podcast (other than clearly using this podcast as a boost for Hawley’s career), is of good intent however Jacob Hawley asks poor questions and despite putting himself across as a person familiar and literate in drugs and drug culture, proves himself to be very nieve and inept and really lets down the goal of the podcast; to help further educate the general public on this matter of great importance, a subject affecting almost everyone’s lives in the UK directly or indirectly.. A great idea for a BBC podcast, interesting people interviewed, but unfortunately completely let down by a host unable to fill the vital role of host for such an important subject. For example, repeatedly telling a story of how he got too wasted in Germany one time and building most of his views from this one immature event in his life. Huge let down from BBC, hopefully they’ll better select hosts for such important subjects in the future, not holding my breath however...

More reviews of Jacob Hawley: On Love
Excellent podcast. Popped up on my recommendation list on BBC Sounds & after just finishing the eighth episode I’m now hoping that another series is commissioned. Balanced views, well researched & not afraid to be controversial.
